Source Codes Setup

Source codes are useful in measuring how people are getting information regarding your association. Source codes can be used to measure the effectiveness of direct mail, email , or online advertising to see which is most effective in getting responses from potential members, donors, and so on.

To add a source code, complete the following steps:

  1. Go to the Accounting Overview page.
  2. Click the Accounting Setup page hyperlink. This opens the Accounting Setup page.
  3. Click the Add icon located on the source codes child form. This opens the Add - Source Code pop-up window.
  4. Enter the name of the source code in the source code field.
  5. Expand the type drop-down menu and select which type of source code you are adding. This determines where in NetForum this source code will be available.
  6. Enter the start and end dates for the source code if they are time based.
  7. Click the Save button. The new source code has been added to the source codes child form and is now available in the Source Code drop-down menu in NetForum.
